Polar Express Trains
Everyone has heard of the movie :The Polar Express,; that was
released in 2004. This movie uses incredibly motion- capturing
animation to create a story that has thrilled and delighted children
and adults of almost any age.
:The Polar Express,; was originally a children・s storybook, and was
written by Chris Van Allsburg in the mid 1980・s. It tells the story
of a young boy trying to solve the mystery of Santa Clause. The
young boy has quite an adventure traveling from his own bedroom, all
the way to the North Pole, and all of this takes place on the Polar
Express Train.
Now not only can you buy the book and the movie, but you can also
buy your own model Polar Express Train. Some models do not look all
that much like the original, and are therefore cheaper. However,
there are other models of the Polar Express train that are sculpted
to look as close to the original, making them relatively more
expensive. From the train's unique whistle, and the candy and
chocolate shop, to the faces in the windows.
There is a whole set of trains and characters available to buy. As I
said earlier, some are cheaper, some are pricier, and some look more
like the original than others. You can buy a whole set of all the
train cars and characters, or you can start off slowly, and add on
to your collection over the years. They make great gifts for
Christmas and Birthdays, and will keep your children or
grandchildren entertained for hours. It・s always so much fun for
kids to be able to reenact or recreate a story they know and love,
acting out the different characters and making the whistle sound.
The difference between the Polar Express train set and other train
sets is that this one is so much more real to children. If they・ve
seen the movie, then they are familiar with the characters and the
train. However, they don・t have to limit their imaginations to just
what・s in the movie. They can change all the names and everything if
they wish, making up their own story.
